1. What This Policy Covers
1.1 Scope
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies ("Cookies") GameEx uses on gameex.co (the "Platform"), why we use them, and the choices available to you. It applies whether you browse as a visitor, sign in, or check out as a guest.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies — including local storage, session storage and pixels — serve the same purpose and are covered by this Policy too.
1.2 Operator
Cookies on the Platform are operated by MCUBES, a business registered in India with its registered address at MGP 22/954, Midhunam, Mannancherry P.O, 688538, Alappuzha, India. Contact us at howdy@gameex.co with any question about this Policy.
1.3 Third-party platforms
Some pages embed content or links from third parties, including marketplaces, payment processors and platform holders. Those providers set their own Cookies under their own policies. This Policy does not govern them, and we do not control how they use data they collect directly from you.
2. Your Consent
2.1 How we ask
When you first visit the Platform we show a consent banner explaining the categories we use. You can accept all categories, reject every non-essential category, or choose individually.
2.2 Your choice is stored and versioned
Your decision is recorded in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit. The record carries a version number. When this Policy changes materially we increase the version, which re-opens the banner so you can review your choices.
2.3 Withdrawing consent
You may change your mind at any time. Use the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page, or the manage-cookies option in your browser, to revisit the banner. Withdrawing consent for a category stops us using that category from that point onward. Categories already exercised before withdrawal remain governed by the terms in effect at the time.
2.4 Cookies set before a choice is made
Only strictly necessary Cookies are set before you make a choice. Nothing in the optional categories is written to your device until you have consented to it.
3. The Categories We Use
3.1 Strictly necessary — always active
These Cookies are required for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off. They cover signing in, holding your cart between visits, keeping the checkout session consistent, preventing fraud and abuse, and balancing load across our servers.
3.2 Functional and preferences — optional
These remember choices you make so the Platform behaves consistently across visits, such as your theme, currency and language preferences, and recently viewed items.
3.3 Analytics and performance — optional
These help us understand which pages and offers are used so we can improve the store. The measurements are aggregated and anonymised, and we do not use them to build a profile of you for advertising.
3.4 Marketing — optional
These measure campaign effectiveness and attribute a visit to the campaign that brought it. We do not sell your personal data and do not use these to track you across unrelated websites.
4. Category Summary
4.1 At a glance
Strictly necessary — always active. Functional and preferences — optional. Analytics and performance — optional. Marketing — optional.
The banner and the preferences panel show the same four categories, and the banner is the control you can always return to from the footer of any page.
4.2 How to identify a category in your browser
Every browser lets you review the Cookies a site has stored and delete them individually. Use that tool to remove a specific Cookie, or use it to confirm that the optional categories are not being set when you have rejected them.
5. What We Do Not Do
5.1 No sale of personal data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Analytics data is aggregated and used to operate and improve the Platform.
5.2 No cross-site tracking for advertising
We do not use Cookies to follow you around other websites to build a behavioural advertising profile.
5.3 No advertising Cookies without consent
Marketing Cookies are optional and are never set before you have chosen to allow them.
6. How to Control Cookies
6.1 Change your choice on this site
Use the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page. The panel opens with your current selection, and you can accept, reject or adjust individual categories. Your change takes effect immediately and replaces the earlier decision.
6.2 Use your browser controls
All major browsers let you block or delete Cookies, and can be set to prompt you before a site stores any. Blocking strictly necessary Cookies will prevent parts of the Platform — sign in and checkout in particular — from working.
6.3 Clearing your browser data
Clearing your browser storage removes the record of your consent, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
7. Changes to This Policy
7.1 Notice of change
When we materially change this Policy we update the version number and the date below, and re-open the consent banner so you can review and re-confirm your choices.
7.2 Contact
Questions about this Policy, or about the Cookies we use, can be sent to howdy@gameex.co or posted to MGP 22/954, Midhunam, Mannancherry P.O, 688538, Alappuzha, India.
Change your preferences at any time
Use the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of any page to accept, reject or adjust categories. Your choice is stored in your browser and replaces your previous decision.
